This is with out a doubt the hardest piece I've EVER DONE in my LIFE. It's made with gradient meshes only. Please comment on it if you like it.Outlines can be found here: [link]

hmm no wonder people are confused whether this is a photo or not since the original IS a photo.
Nicely done, I bow to your patience since recreating something like this must have taken a lot of time... but not so much to your creativity, plus you intentionally made everyone think you did it from scratch not linking to source photograph which anyone else would do from start.
I believe probably the only reason you didn't give much attention to lime was the fact that it's really blurred on the reference photo.

Not only do I like it, but I adore it.
This is amazing, I love the detail of the water and just the whole ambiance of it. And that it's a lime. 
I honestly think you could fool anyone into thinking it was photography and not vector. Really, really, amazing work. ^^
