Description
Here's the first of the three commissions I accepted recently.This one's a punk rocker / skater chick. Well... at least tries to be. Neither I or the client seemed to know too much about the related fashion. xP I guess it could use more black and other dark colours... but anyways. Client approves, so I'm done.
It's morning and she's just out of shower, listening to music from her iPod/mp3 player.
Oh, and the posters on the walls are of imaginary bands, before anyone asks.

Done in openCanvas3.03E over couple of evenings, I think.
Critique not preferred, as usual. Client's approval is enough.
Prints not available, unfortunately, the full size version is only slightly larger than the sample here. Feel free to leave Print Requests if you'd be interested in buying one though. If there's enough interest then I might make it happen some day.

Ah I really like the pose here. Her look, her expression, her body posture... all very confident and sexy. Your colors are all very smooth and blend nicely together, yet your highlights and tone bring out the details and you really are getting good at perspectives. I'm always impressed by the way you do textures, especially of her jeans, her hair, the cloth towel and bedsheets.
I suppose the colors could have been a bit darker as some people mentioned, and more metallicness on her clothes and body. But, I'd just explain it that she his high standards and good tastes 
All in all, I'd say your client must be very pleased :3 Hmm but I think your client forgot to give you permission to use his name

boy, i know how THAT goes.. I'm doing a logo right now for some committee in my town.. i sent em a half a dozen concepts for them to discuss between themselves.. and they liked the one that everyone else thought was the ugliest....

Well, some clients can be demanding, but I've been lucky to have great clients. Sometimes they prefer things I don't, but if it doesn't bother me then they shall have what they want. It's their money on the line.

true enough, though i have one or two regular clients I'd like to drop.. one in particular...their instructions conflict themselves. and I NEVER get working on something the same day it's assigned to me, because she almost ALWAYS changes her mind within 24h... and t just gets more frustrating from there...

I get cases like that sometimes when I do web design. One time I was asked to colour some drawings of houses, and were given instructions as to what colours to use, then after spending hours colouring the houses, I'm told that I should actually colour every house in the same colour. >__O God dammit.

But is that really different from listening while working out? I mean I see people do it all the time while they are working up a real sweat. But yeah headset idea came before the shower idea

From a girl with long hair, it's very different having a headset on when your hair is wet from the shower than when you're sweating from your head. When you're sweating, your hair acts like a buffer between you and the wetness.

Thanks, and true, I suppose. But I figured she's still a girl. xP I did try to avoid colourful pink though. Everything's more purple or red really. ^^
