This is beautiful in so many ways. The contrasting poses between the character really illustrates the mood, and the light of the sun seems like it could either be a metaphor for death (sun set) or rebirth/life (sun rise) but then, the fact that the viewer doesn't know exactly which, really adds to the attraction of the piece.

Very awesome! Love the lighting and how the hair falls around the guy with the swords face.
Just one thing though, dead people are kind of limp after they die (no duh.) so it might make the guy look more dead-ish if his head was lolled to the side. :3
