Actually, there's nothing particularly Lacey about this Belle here. Of course, this is far down the line in the story, after a lot has happened, but it's still the Belle we're used to.
I recommend. It's an excellent read!

First of all, my neighbor, and hopefully still friend of a sort, forgive me please for being so presumptious about the situation here, but I'm basing it partly on a general sense of what this long story "Subject 204" is in reference to; and believe me, the series this story is set into is by far nowadays my favorite television series, even despite the implimentations of things like what I'd call "fallen spirituality" (ie: spells and the like)... but it *appears* that Belle French Gold (I'm guessing here, she might not be married to Mr. Rumple Gold yet at the time of the story), or simply Belle French at this time, is in a college and gets involved in some messed-up science project.
That's my *guess* mind you, the reason why I'm guessing here is because at this time I didn't have time to devote to reading it, so I'm basing my position on the summary; I fully agree that it's quite likely an excellent read, and support reading it as of yet.
Oh, and Miss, have you ever gotten your hands on the new Wendy T. OUAT novel: Regina Rising? I think you'd enjoy it, quite a bit, I might add; I've already started reading it, and have completely enjoyed it thus far!
I trust you understand why I guessed it was Belle's alter-ego, Lacey, considering as she's apparently involved in some kind of criminal adventure, and Lacey seems to be the sort of woman who doesn't think about what she's doing- hence she tends to get involved in criminal activity, like getting drunk and the like.
I hope this hasn't offended you at all, same with all my other comments on your work- we do and will differ in viewpoint, but that's part of the good in the human race: that we *do* differ in viewpoint, so as a result reality can be identified and ascertained; just the same way that science thrives on debate.

P.S. You did a wonderful job with this picture, if you ever wanted to make pictures inspired by my works, I can't say I'd be against it, but they'd be your ideas portrayed of what's going on in the stories; I don't know if I'd be able to commission you to do so, due to situations in the real world, but fanart is most definitely welcome. I'm trying to be polite here, I trust you understand.

Oh, you're reading it? That's great. The story is an adventure, and I've made some other drawing for it - they're all on my tumblr, though. I can't get enough of that universe.
Yeah, I supposed, based on this picture alone, it would be safe to assume this is Lacey. But I think Belle has a bad girl in her somewhere, so she's not entirely opposed to defying the law if it means doing something good. But that's just my take on the character. Anyways, I appreciate your comments! Thank you so much.
