Finding the weather more or less sunless was almost a blessing with how fast Suley seemed intent on travelling. He was fond of making the snow kick up under his paws and this was quite apparent to Novalie. Every three or so strides, she smiled to notice that he glanced back to look upon just that. He was a bit of an oddball. This much was certain. Whether he was picking on his handler, a tree branch, or a fellow tokota, Suley was fond of bringing attention to himself. And through this rite of fortitude, the spotlight was totally on him. Checking the reins a few times, Novalie asked him to slow pace just a bit. His stamina was not going to be able to maintain a gallop for long. Grudgingly, he responded. But it took several reminders that first day before he seemed to accept that such a task was not a race, and moreso simply endurance.
