Second of her Rites of Fertility.They had been travelling determinedly over the course of the last several days, mulling through the occasional dune of snow and watching on for the next sign that they were on the right trail. It was an eye opening task. This was nothing like a quick sheep herd or the bit of endurance the pair had already done before. But it was an exhilarating challenge all the same. As they neared the top of an outcropping of rock on this mountain, the distinct cry of some bird of prey carried. Novalie looked on as her Tokota's ears swiveled, curious but still keeping her eye on their task. Laying a hand down against the crest of fur on her shoulders, the girl assured Eila that it was fine to pause and look.
