Earth E3 - Colonel David Cain - David Cain is widely considered to be "the deadliest person in the world".

Not because of his unerring accuracy with small arms.

Not because he's the strongest or the fastest. While he's certainly no slouch, there's people under his command that specialize in those areas.

Not even because he's mastered several forms of combat, both armed and unarmed. After all, as he says, "knowing how to kill doesn't mean you must kill."

No, it's because of his mind. Cain has the capacity to use up to 90 percent of his brain at any one time, making him a tactical genius. He is adept at turning opponents' own weapons, strategies and abilities against them.

After World War I, David the "Terminator" Cain retired from the front lines of the armed services, attempting to rebuild his relationship with his estranged daughter while working in military intelligence.

As World War II waged on, the decision was made to give Cain his own command. Letting him personally pick the soldiers for his elite unit (despite any misgivings the Pentagon may have). An independent, roving unit, with it's location (even it's existence), a closely guarded secret, that lies behind enemy lines. Cain's name is redacted on most of the paperwork, but he has the badges and credentials to open any door he needs.

With few supplies of their own, Cain's crew follows his lead by making their enemy's strengths their own. Cain has the leeway to create missions for his team (along with completing the missions assigned to them), often with unorthodox methods but with unquestionable results
