Description Her name is Mayumi. It means Graceful, gentle or Ladylike. She is all of that.

We took her from the streets. LOL. My step-dad's dog, Pepper the Akita, found her while the maid was walking her. LOL. The maid brought her back since Pepper didn't do anything to her and she looked like a 'puppy'. Our maid was old, so her eyes weren't doing well. LOL. I confirmed that she was a cat. My mom and step-dad decided to take her in since she looked adorable, not at all stray-like.

As a kitten, I walked her every morning, fed her milk (from the supermarket) and took care of her. I used to bring her to the sofa and she'd sleep comfortably in my arms. Sometimes, I also fall asleep, but I wake up after a short time since my sub-consciousness reminds me that I might suddenly squeeze her to death. She was always warm and kept on purring, I find it adorable.

I have no idea why she's so small. She's about a year or two already and yet I can still carry her like a baby without her arms hitting my face uncomfortably. She has this thing when I carry her in that position. She reaches out to my face and when I lower my head, she grasps it and licks my cheek. She doesn't bring her claws out, so it's all good. Every time I touch or carry her, she purrs so strongly that I can feel that she is very comfortable with me. I get so overjoyed.

I can say I'm Yumi's mom or something. I mean, all the other cats seem to not like her because she was taken in and not birthed by my first cat. Either that or she's just too small to defend herself. She may be scared of the other cats since they're way bigger. We usually feed her before the other cats so she doesn't get competition with food. Usually bring her inside the kitchen so she can eat in peace.
