Demons:

A list about demons in Kage Regnum, containing information about the different categories of demons.

Demon:
A race in Kage Regnum, whose members look human, but have superhuman powers. Also used to describe a common demon, who usually has no special traits compared to other demons species, and possess moderate strength and yoki (demonic aura); called commoners by taiyokai (see lower)

Sleepers:
Demons who have yet to become proper demons and to embrace their powers. Usual among members belonging to strong or rare demon species, hanyous, and in some cases Heritages (which has only happened a few times, and the 'victim' was an artificial Heritage.

Hanyou:
A half-demon, an individual who has a demon and a human parent. In some cases, half-demons can have inherited demon blood from an ancestor. A half-demon can have children who will either be half-demon or a heritage. There is also a chance that an artificial Heritage can become a half-demon, but only if the Heritage is compatible with the given blood.

Heritage:
An individual who possesses very little demon blood, but some heritages have gained a few enchanted physical powers because of the inherited powers of the blood. An heritage is either natural or artificial. The natural comes from usually a half-demon and a human, and artificials are created when a human acquires a blood transfusion from a demon or an individual with demon blood, which can also mean a heritage.

Taiyoukai:
Great demon, or lord demon. Demons of high power and strong demon species. Usually has a very potent aura that paralyzes weaker demons. Their demonic forms, when a demon's power is unleashed, is often very different from their usual form. They are considered royals and god-like by natural standards, but most of them pale in comparison to a King demon.

King Demon:
The strongest demon, and the rulers of Kage Regnum. They are members born into the Lhycan House when darkness threatens the world, or a great chaos is about to happen. They possess youki that can have a deadly effect on demons close to them.
Few King demons have been born in close proximity, but during the end of the third era, four King demons were born during three consecutive generations, all of whom were considered to be the most powerful King demons in History, with power to challenge the gods themselves.
