Hello and welcome to another exciting addition of I don't know what to draw, therefore I'm going to draw Gakupo who is who I always draw when I don't know what to draw.When I first started painting this it was -4 F (-20 C) here in Rochester. It did not feel very spring-like, lol. For the bridge, I took a picture of the one I walk over every day when I take my dog to the park and used it for reference. The entire creek was frozen at the time. I just want it to be warm again, so sad.
But yeaaaaah, it's Gakupo! This picture isn't from any particular song, I just really enjoy drawing him. He's super fun. I MEAN JUST LOOK AT HIM. That parasol was a pain though.

Apparently my cat has so much majestic fur that he can't take care of all of it. It kinda looks like he's not wearing pants.
Scottish folds are great, our neighbor's is really fat and funny. His favorite food is bread. Like the cat will go nuts whenever someone has a roll or something.
History just has too many dates and then half the time our teacher is like "YES BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAAAANNN" and you just sit there and are like "IT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING JUST STOP" but you can't actually say that. Well you could, but you probably shouldn't.
Ahhhh those are some nice themes, now I'm going to spend forever looking at themes!

Oh my God those Titans are so creepy I cannot get over it. I know they're supposed to be creepy but if they could not be so creepy it would be greatly appreciated. Like maybe they could just wear silly hats or something and it would be so much better.

I hate memorizing the dates. SO MUCH. AHAHAHA
One time, I had a mini quiz for history, and we were allowed to look at our textbooks and look for answers. Of course, without asking where the answer is. THEN THIS STUPID QUESTION ROLLED IN 'UGHHH HOW DID THEY TAKE THIS COUNTRY UGHHHH', AND 'WHEN DID THEY SIGN THE CONTRACT UGHHHHH', and I looked practically everywhere for the answer in the txtbook, and failed. I started flipping the pages violently, almost tearing it. SO ANGRY.
Lol, last year, I had some homework for history, I had to create important notes or something, but I was kinda pissed off at that moment. Then when I couldn't even find anything, I just threw the txtbook across the floor. I also tore one page, but not completely though.
I HAVE ANGER ISSUES.
Yesterday, the internet was just cut off, and I was in the middle of tumblr'ing, haha. Then it couldn't load anything, I was so angry. Then I turned off the internet thingy, whatevs, then turned it back on. I used my phone for the internet, because it had 3G. I kept reloading and reloading, it still couldn't load. So I just smacked my laptop and phone screen, shut them off, and played some games. A string of curse words just flew out of my mouth, I think I need some soap to clean my mouth, lol!

Dates are annoying, a lot of times we don't even bother with them (I don't think our professor even remembers...) That sounds horrible though, there is nothing more frustrating than trying to find something in a textbook and you JUST CAN'T FIND IT AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT AND YOU NEED IT AND I'm getting angry just typing this. History can be very frustrating, I am writing a paper right now and I just do not want to do it because ugh. Then I have to do all these citations and I JUST DO NOT WANT TO.

I have been watching Attack on Titan, so much that I probably should be spending more time on my homework, heh. The titans are REALLY creepy looking. I just left off where Eren, Mikasa, and Armin have returned to the Wall Rose and everyone has surrounded them with cannons. Eren just turned back into the titan too. I kinda knew that key was going to come into play somehow, and the syringe that his dad was depicted with earlier in the season. Last night when I was watching it I was just like "ONE MORE EPISODE" because I just had to know what happened! I wanted to watch more this morning but I had to get ready for school and it was sad.
THEIR FACES ARE SO RIDICULOUS. Like when they made it into HQ and the two faces of the titans showed up and part of me wants to laugh at how ridiculous they look but then at the same time it's pretty freaky. I am not sure how to feel.
I need to watch this Shingeki no Kyojin crack when I get home from class tonight.

Yeah I got through it quicker than I thought. When I was half way through episode 24 my internet died and I nearly died as well.
I should probably purchase it as well, if just to support the author. I used to buy manga all the time but it's kinda expensive if there's like 50 volumes or something. My collection looks rather sad right now, haha.
I just practice a lot, I used to be really terrible at drawing. We all gotta start somewhere. I kinda stopped for awhile when I used to play this game called Ragnarok Online. It was kinda like an older version of World of Warcraft and I was addicted. Then I had to like relearn how to draw, hahaha. Dark times.
Levi is hard to draw though, I hate drawing short hair, lol. Here's what I have so far... probably should consider doing my homework sometime this weekend... nah.

My manga collection is right near my bed too! For some reason a lot of the series I own I have like... volume one and then volume eight. I am not sure why this is, however it does present a problem when I'm re-reading stuff.

I'm not sure who my favorite character is. Before I got into the series (so like... a week ago, lol), I didn't want to hop aboard the Levi train, but I do like his character. I was afraid that he was going to be one of those total badasses with no faults or anything, but the whole cleaning thing for some reason made him more likeable. I really want to cosplay him sometime and just walk around a convention holding cleaning stuff like Windex.
Then again, I also like Armin a lot. I usually like the weak-but-intelligent characters because they are the ones who often show a lot of character development.
In other words, I CAN'T CHOOSE I LIKE ALMOST ALL OF THEM.
Not really a Mikasa fan though, I get she has a sad story but her personality is too serious. I know she wants to protect Eren but that's really all I seem to know about her other than her past.

This drawing's turning out to be a lot harder than I thought it would. I tried to make it dark because I need practice with night scenes. I keep changing everything, ugh. I know the con I'm attending soon is going to have a million Erens and Levis, it's going to be just an endless sea of Scout uniforms.
I was not expecting her past to be that dark, but it makes sense why she's so serious I guess. At first I wasn't sure how she was related to Eren, I thought they were siblings but then she had a different last name. She reminds me a lot of Rei Ayanami from Evangelion. I understand her past is sad, but her personality is so flat. Oh well.
I do know Marco! He was the one mysteriously killed, poor guy. I'm assuming it was Annie that did it considering she had his Maneuvering Device. He was a nice guy, I liked him. Bertholdt is cool too! I DO PLAY METAL GEAR SOLID! It's been awhile but yes! I was in a club in high school, it was called 'Japanese Club' but it was really just an Anime and videogame club. All my friends in there loved Metal Gear Solid so I had to get into the series in order to understand what they were talking about all the time, haha.
Around here trends always happen like a year late. Last year it was still an endless sea of Homestuck characters, and the year before that it was Hetalia. Hetalia EVERYWHERE. It's interesting how trends come and go so fast, even in cosplay of all things.
Yeah I was really confused. I was talking to a friend last night about Attack on Titan and he's about halfway through the Anime, I got super excited not gonna lie, ahaha. His favorite character's Erwin so far.
Marco! He was so kind to Jean, I feel like Jean needed him. His death was sad (honestly everyone's death was sad, feeeeeeeeels). There are theories saying he's alive? I guess he would be one of the characters that could be alive just because they left it off with his 'mysterious' death. What are the theories?
I did get them mixed up, they were always together! You never see one without the other it seems.
I SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT. Like after googling Bertholdt's name and the FIRST THING THAT COMES UP IS A MAJOR SPOILER, but at the same time it was like "man I should have seen that coming". Metal Gear is a great series, I like seeing how much it's changed over the years from looking at the graphics and stuff.
Japanese Club was interesting... We had a very strange assortment of members to say the least, haha. It was a lot of fun though, we basically spent most of our time playing videogames and planning the school's videogame tournaments which drew in a lot of people. In the summer of my junior year of high school we even went to Japan for ten days, it was awesome!
I tried, I really tried to see what all the fuss was over Homestuck. I just could not get into it. People cosplayed all the trolls, and half of them didn't seal their gray body paint properly (or at all) and so if you accidentally brushed up against someone or they hugged you you would end up with gray paint all over your costume. Not fun, not going to miss that.
I'm gradually sucking people into this series, hahaha. Erwin's really cool too, I like his character a lot. He's very serious though, then again I guess he has to be.
Hmm, that does actually seem like a good possibility. They just really took Jean's word for it too, there wasn't a lot of investigation on his death. Didn't Annie use his gear though to kill Hange/Hanji's two titans? Or maybe I was mistaken on that. It would be interesting if Marco turned out to be evil because he was so nice. Jean needed him! ;~;

Yup! I went in mid-July though, so it was SO HOT. Really humid too. It was over a hundred degrees, and so humid your lungs felt like they were filling up with water. It was so foggy out that we couldn't even see Mt. Fuji when we were practically right next to it. Other than that, it was a lot of fun. I got to go to several different cities with our club, and I even managed to get lost for three and a half hours with another girl from a different state that we were traveling with. That was pretty scary, haha. Our teacher didn't even know that I was missing though.
I tried too. I TRIED. Some old friends from high school were really into it and I tried to see what all the fuss was about, but it didn't seem like it was going anywhere. Everyone claimed Homestuck got better by chapter four or something, but I couldn't bring myself to get that far.
Watch Marco be the main antagonist of the series. He was all nice and friendly, then suddenly he's the one pulling the strings behind all the titans. That would be quite a plot twist, haha.
We do have a lot of problems, but that's okay BECAUSE WE'RE COOL SO THEY ARE COOL PROBLEMS.

My friend was crying and panicking! I had just met her too, which made things a little awkward.
Basically what happened was, as part of the tour we were in this one section of Tokyo that was mostly shops and stalls for tourists. We had pretty much seen all of the stuff before in other places, so we figured we'd walk around for awhile just to kill time. Well, we started going through back alleys and pretty soon we were in this residential part of town. Neither of us had cellphones and we had no idea where we were. We were so hot and thirsty because of the heat too so that made matters a lot worst. Eventually we came across these two Australians and they told us which way to go. If we hadn't found them we probably would still be out there somewhere, lol.
My math teacher, who was like 'in charge' of our Japanese club although she didn't really do anything, didn't even notice we were missing because we had all split up to do our own things. It was really scary at the time, but it makes for a good story now. Every time in class when it's the first day and everyone has to say something interesting about themselves I say "I got lost in Tokyo for three hours" because nobody can top that, haha.
Are you into Dangan Ronpa? That seemed to be the trend after Homestuck, although I haven't checked it out either. It kinda got pushed aside by Attack on Titan though since they both got popular really fast. My high school friends who were into Homestuck are now obsessed with it.
Honestly this series just keeps on surprising me so at this point if Marco turns out to be the main antagonist I would be totally okay with that.

It was a very scary experience. I'm honestly surprised I didn't freak out more. I guess I figured I had to keep it together because my new friend was in panic mode and one of us had to be somewhat stable if we were ever going to make it back.
I was sixteen at the time, almost seventeen. I learned my lesson that day about not wandering off in foreign countries where you can't speak the language, haha.
Shops were AWESOME. We went shopping almost every day. The Japanese version of Toys R Us was just a giant pokemon store, there was pokemon EVERYWHERE. Someone in my class bought a sword, that was different. A lot of times we would just end up in a bookstore buying manga that no one knew how to read. Harajuku and Akihabara were really cool, I wasn't really into a lot of the japanese fashion stuff back then but there was so much cool clothing that I really regret not buying. Everything was really expensive there though. There was green tea flavored ice cream, that was exciting. On the first day we went to this restaurant that supposedly had 'American' food. We were served these omelets that were covered in barbeque sauce, which was good but also funny. Also Engrish. Engrish everywhere.
We visited a lot of shrines as well. There was this one support beam in this one temple that had a hole sawed into it (it was made out of an old tree). You were supposed to hold your breath as you crawled through it for good luck. This lady in our tour group got stuck in it. She was really annoying so a bunch of my friends from school took pictures and listed it as one of the most memorable parts of the trip. It also rained randomly a lot. When we were by the coast it just downpoured out of the blue and the waterlevel came up to our knees. We went under this tent for cover where there were a couple shop stalls and the owners were chasing the water with brooms, lol.
I should get into Dangan Ronpa, I'm really bad at missing the boat on all the cool things and then when I 'discover' them everyone's already tired of it, haha.

OH MY GOD I DID THE SAME THING. For some reason aisles at the supermarket were apparently really confusing for me and I would constantly be losing my parents and freaking out. I got lost a lot as a kid, no wonder I wandered off in Japan.
You should definitely go someday, I really want to go back to Japan. It was such a beautiful country, and so different from America. I did not have Dorayaki, but I looked it up and now I seriously want it. I did have red bean ice cream, that was different.
Honestly everyone should own a sword, they are pretty cool. I'm surprised I didn't buy more things, I really wanted to. I had an even worse spending problem back then than I do now, and that's saying something.
THE ENGRISH. Oh lordy. One of my friends has a list of all the funny things we found, I'll have to ask him for it the next time I see him. One of my favorites was in one of the hotels we were in there was a garbage can that was supposed to say "Please no combustible items" but instead it said "Prease no comburnable items". There were also some really funny shop names. Vending machines are all over the place, and there was this one drink that everyone found hilarious for some reason called Qoo. Everywhere we went, everyone was on the constant lookout for Qoo.
She was SO annoying. Every time we would get on the bus she would try to jump into our conversations. She had to be in her late forties and we were all high schoolers, so it was kinda weird. She also interrupted the tour guide all the time with her own personal anecdotes that had nothing to do with what he was talking about. Honestly I wouldn't have minded if we had just left her stuck in the shrine pole...

If your parents are going does that mean you'll be joining them? I usually sound like a weeaboo when I recommend it to friends, but I really think that Japan is somewhere everyone should visit once. The culture is entirely different, and it's just a beautiful place! Unfortunately when I went we were only there for about ten days and we visited so many places they all kinda blend together in my brain...

YES. THE PUDDI PUDDI. IT WAS EVERYTHING YOU IMAGINED AND MORE. It's basically flan, but just the fact that it was Puddi Puddi made it better.
Conventions are kinda weird. At least the one that I go to you have half of the people really wanting their picture taken, and then other people look at you all funny when you ask if you can take theirs. The one I go to is at a college so the setup is always very strange. Artist Alley was set up in three different classrooms and I only found two out of the three.

AKIHABARA. AWESOME PLACE. I've been there during the night and during the day, and both were super fun! SHOPPING. SO MUCH SHOPPING. There is a lot of different j-fashion styles, especially on the weekends! When I went during the week there wasn't as much, I was disappointed. I saw a lot of the girls from Maid Cafes standing around handing out flyers and cards to people who walked by. I know some of them don't allow foreigners, but some do.
That's so cool that you're learning Japanese, especially that you've progressed far enough to the intermediate level. I have two friends who are studying it in college, one of them is currently there and the other one I usually see on holidays and she's always burnt out from speaking it. At the Christmas party last year she kept forgetting to speak English, it was pretty funny.

Otakon holds 35,000 people, which is way more than I'm used to. The people I'm going with want to do a Pokemon Gym Leader thing for one day, I might go as Sabrina. The other two days I'm not sure yet. I kinda really want to make a Gakupo cosplay, but I also kinda want to be in the endless sea of Shingeki... DECISIONS.

Cons are so great, I forget how awesome they are sometimes but they're AWESOME. Even if I always manage to get sick afterwards, totally worth it. The con I go to has an Artist Alley but it's always really small and cramped, I feel bad for the Artists there. The year before nobody could find where it was, the artists who participated were pretty upset considering they have to pay to set up stands.

Actually, last year's con was my first time going to a con! I picked the wrong shoes to walk in. The next day I wore slippers....I walk too much. I seriously love Artist's Alley so much. Most of the artists had a DA! They made prints and sold some. There were badges and keychains, everything! I didn't even have the time to look at everything! It was cramped too....There was a lot of people.

You're going to have such a good time when you go, it was so great! Some of Japan is pretty xenophobic so they don't allow foreigners in certain shops, but in Tokyo it's fine. I remember some people talking about certain maid cafes not being open to foreigners on a cosplay website I was on, but I could be wrong. There must be some open, I would think that would be a major tourist attraction.
I'm used to 2,000 people at a con, so 35,000 is a big difference. I should go as Gakupo, but I'm not sure which outfit! And some SnK character... not sure who though. There's going to be so many Levis, maybe I could do Armin. Luckily everyone has the same uniform pretty much, so I would just have to change the wig and suddenly I'm someone else!

Shoes can really make or break your con. That's the only reason I'm hesitant to cosplay any character with heels, I'm not sure I could handle it. Some people I saw this year made their own sandals... that was a mistake. That's so awesome about Artist Alley, I have to save up so much money this summer because I am just going to buy everything. I've noticed a lot of artists have been making things like plushies lately as opposed to the usual prints. I like buttons. I can can never buy enough buttons.

Italy is supposed to be very beautiful and historic, at least what I've seen from pictures. I'm sure it's not all Tuscan sun and Colosseum, but I am sure there are some parts that live up to it. My aunt and uncle have gone a few times and they both really enjoyed their stay in Italy. It would be even better if you could speak the language, I'm sure. Plus all that food!

He 'retired' from killing and winds up at this girl name Kaoru's dojo where she trains swordsman. He basically tries to help her with the school, but then naturally bad guys show up and stuff. It used to be on television when I was younger and I'm feeling all nostalgic, haha.
