Hello again! It's me, back with another "sketchbook" drawing! Though at this point, I think it's turned into an illustration book!

Anyway, I'm very happy with how this piece turned out. I really wanted to try a more dynamic pose. Despite my fears and hesitation, I stuck to the idea, and this is the result! I'm actually a little shook, haha.
The pic was taken with my phone camera, which sadly just doesn't do things justice. Also, I forgot how smudgy colored pencils can get. Everything was fine and dandy until I colored in the skin, then it went straight into smudge city!

To be fair, I just have a big box of old colored pencils that I wanted to use. I'm planning on buying some new art materials soon since I've really been having a good time with traditional art lately. For now, I'm just content with how things turned out. I hope you enjoy it!
