Prompt 2 - What does your character like about this skill?

Tam was going to create a diversion. A distraction that would be enough to let the group of cats to go free, even if he were left behind. In the shadows of the tunnel, his hushed voice slowly counted, as the hunter crept closer. There seemed to be a big event going on in the coliseum that day, which left less cats guarding the cages. Due to Tam and Linhette's knowledge of the city, they were able to escape the first group of hunters chasing them.

Now, they were at the final stretch. Finally, once the bounty hunter was close enough for him to launce onto, he yowled out, "THREE!" The ocelot flew through the air, claws digging into his enemy. The others raced away as he occupied the hunters attention, blood staining his teeth.

She was worried, after all. She knew her brother was skilled, and could handle a hunter on his own. As an apprentice, he had trained nonstop, learning as much as he could. She liked hearing the stories of his time in Fire Empire, when it was still around. Perhaps living in an Empire would have helped her with her hunting and tracking skills.

Speaking of hunting, she had a promise to keep. Once they were safe from being followed, she would catch them all a warm meal, as a thanks.

After crossing a river to hide their scents, they all decided to take a break. It was unlikely that they would be followed, and give an opportunity for Tam to catch up. Linhette excused herself briefly, leaving Augutus with the larger cats. She hoped he wasn't too frightened of their size. Quickly scenting the air, she could smell the lush scent of a rabbit family nearby, as well as a bird to the east. The wind seemed to be in her favor today, and she quickly caught a large rabbit, doubling back to find the bird.

Once her hunt was successful, she bounded back to the group. Their eyes lit up, and she let them eat first. They'd made such a long journey, and deserved it. If tracking down food and killing it could make her friends more content, she wouldn't stop learning.

Some time later, her disgruntled looking brother returned, looking as if he'd been tossed from a large tree. She rushed off to get him a meal too, but he refused. Her stubborn brother would rather do it himself, even if he looked like he would faint any minute.

Linhette and Augustus have escaped the city! Eos, Achilles, and Tam rescued them.
