I was looking through my old stuff and found an old hair tutorial I made 13 years ago. So I decided to follow it for shits and gigs. I feel a lot of nostalgia drawing/coloring in this style. Even though it doesn't look as good as the art I usually do nowadays, I sometimes wish I could go back to it full time. Things were so much easier back then. Not so complex. I could just draw a character in a simple style with no background and be done with it. Not like now. Now, things have to stand out from the crowd, they have to be exceptional. They have to make money. But even when I try to, my work hardly makes money and gets only a handful of internet comments as acknowledgement, from people who end up not even buying anything from me. So, what am I even doing? What good am I?
