Amber and her brother Michael were born in Dallas, Texas, where most of their youth was spent. However, when their parents got a job offer they couldn't refuse, they were relocated to New York City, where their mother ran a repair shop for small aircraft and automobiles. Amber grew up watching her mother work, and eventually took up the same craft herself with quite some expertise... but it wouldn't be long before things started to take a turn for the worse. Amber's mother was drafted into the war service, and eventually labelled MIA... and strangely enough, her father would go missing shortly after. Both siblings presumed them dead, and had to learn how to support themselves. When Lysander's mother died, he was another addition to the small, confused and very depressed family. They've managed since then, with Amber's prized possession now being the airplane her mother left her, and her main distraction being running an online channel with Lysander. Their relationship as of late seems to be rather... strained, unfortunately.

Despite her attachment issues, Amber is a valuable companion, and this can't be denied-- she knows how to repair just about anything that moves, and she's damn good at strategizing.
