Came up in a discussion and someone said being bi meant you had to have two partners, or cheat on your partner.Naturally, that was when the fight started.
People like that are STUPID.

I think people who assume that bi-sexual people are automatically promiscuous, are the same people who assume that heterosexual people automatically have to have sex like rabbits with anyone they're even remotely attracted to - or there's something wrong with them.
As if we're not all human beings, with hearts, minds, and wills... not to mention some self-control. X_X

Yeah, I know, It was mentioned I was bi in a group recently and every straight guy sorta backed away, and people kept asking if i was serious or just confused.

Yeah... I heard people get shocked and go: "That's impossible! He has a wife / She has a husband!" when saying someone is bi. Like, if you're attracted to both men and women you just CAN'T be bisexual because you shag everyone you meet. That's too stupid to even comment on it.

I recently met someone online actually who was harassing my friend, who was taken, because she said she was bi.
his excuse was that her saying that was telling him she could have both.

yep. I get this said alot too... also get told that my partner must be "very trusting" as he could lose me to double the normal amount of people :/ . Just because I'm attracted to males and females doesn't mean I'm attracted to ALL males and females.

Sure, I've seen some cases where bi's have two partners, but all those cases involved all 3 people knowing and wanting it that way.

I think a lot of the prejudice comes from people (let's face it, usually girls) who claim to be bisexual but really aren't. There were a lot of girls like that at my school. Jesus, stop using other people's sexuality as a way for you to screw guys. x_x

Being bisexual means NOTHING except that I have the emotional capacity to love either a woman or a man. Being monogamous or being an asshole are separate issues. Great stamp.

so if you can love both men and women,
