Recently, I have been recalling the memories of the animated films I used to watch, when I was very young…One of them was Soyuzmultfilm’s “The Forest Travelers” (“Лесные путешественники».When I was little, I loved the film for the visuals and talking animal characters, but now as I rewatched it, I saw some other stuff that this film deserves love for: a touching coming of age story about facing life challenges, mutual help and family values. If I find a version of this short with English subs, I’ll leave a link!
The characters I’ve drawn are three little squirrels: Whitenose and his siblings, Cranberry and Rusty.
