I've had this rotting in my files forever because it just didn't want to cooperate.BUT NOW IT IS FINISHED YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
A commission for , who wanted SuperBoy to find a stray kitten to care for after a mission
And this originally had backgrounds in the panels, but then I was like OH WAIT I CAN'T DRAW THE INSIDE OF Mt. JUSTICE WORTH A CRAP and I just left them blank.
I don't think it looks horrible without BG though, so it's okay.
On the the topic of SB, when commenting on SuperBoy's newfound love of animals, a lot of people say they were surprised at it and don't know if it fits well.
I was a little surprised too at first, but honestly in retrospect I find it to be fitting, considering how animal-like SuperBoy is.
HE CAN RELATE BECAUSE HE'S ONE OF THEM.
Plus when he's taking care of his pets he doesn't have time to meaninglessly sucking face with M'gann.
That pairing was cute until they started making out whenever they could (just like Mai and Zuko THERE'S NO SUBSTANCE IN THERE IF IT'S JUST KISSING THAT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A RELATIONSHIP GODDANGIT ALJFJKHSAGSDKFGSDFGKL).
But anyway, I hope this satisfies (IDEK if it's even funny).
It ended sort've lamely because I couldn't think of any other way to

I was just looking at the scraps version of this! Great job with the "mah babies" panel. The expressions are spot on and the animals look very. . . much like a surprisingly evil cat and a wolf that I would assume to be much more. . . stronger?

I agree about Megan and Supes though. I like them together, but I think they rushed it. Relationships don't usually happen that fast, and especially considering that they're both awkward and don't really seem like they'd know anything about romance...
But with Mai and Zuko, I love them! I get what you're saying, but at the same time they have history together so it's not necessarily without substance. There was probably a lot of stuff that we probably just never got to see.

Yeah, they rushed it really REALLy badly.
At least they seem to be doing a better job with pacing Wally and Artemis (for now).
I dunno, to me they should show more than a clip or two of a couple's history before having them french it up whenever they get camera time.
Plus I'm a Toko fan, so yeah. It's crack, but they have more bonding time together in my opinion

I love what they're doing with Wally and Artemis, they're one of my favorite couples! I'm glad that they aren't rushing it so much, because I can't take so much hopeless romance, haha. I like it on the side, not the main event. XD
They probably should have shown more (and I personally would have really liked to see it), but I leave it up to my imagination. ^-^ I think it's because I have the idea that "best friends make the best couples" and seeing as they're childhood friends makes me happy.
Lol, I know quite a few people who love that. I'm personally not a fan, because I hate the idea of pairing Toph with anyone. I feel like she's too young to ever really have a relationship and all her little crushes should just stay that way; sweet, innocent, and short lived, haha. But I do admit, I find it amusing (depending on the pic)!

I find them annoying too, it went so fast i got whiplash. On the other hand i'm know a lot of people that can rush into a relationship simply because the guy or girl they like is cute, suck face for a few day, sometimes it lasts an entire week and then they never talk again.So if you think about how old they are its not that strange, a lot of high school couples are just like that.
they actually portray it realistically, its just as nauseating to be around a couple like that in real life as it is to watch it on tv trust me

yeah, I get what you're saying (I've seen it happen a lot), but at the same time... Megan is an alien, and Superboy has barely been in existence for very long. I feel like that sort of romance wouldn't be the first thing on their mind. Well, maybe Megan's, since obviously she's very human like and whatnot, but Supes...not so much.
I dunno, I just think that their relationship is better kept more on the innocent side, at least for now.
