Flamepaw padded towards where Birchpaw had stopped. She stopped cold when she saw a gray she-cat emerge from the bushes. "Hey Birchpaw, did you bring those herbs I asked for?" the gray she-cat asked. "Mhm, Heres your herbs Stonepaw" Birchpaw responded. Flamepaw's head whirled, 'I thought he loved me!' she thought. "Birchpaw..... Why....?" she managed to choke out. "Huh? Oh! Flamepaw! Hi!" Birchpaw padded over. "Whats wrong...?" Birchpaw asked. "I thought you loved me....But obviously you have Stonepaw now..." Flamepaw spat as tears ran down her ginger face. "What? I do love you! I was just bringing some herbs to Stonepaw so she would stop nagging me at the gathering!" Birchpaw spoke. "I don't believe you, and i'll never believe you ever again!" She spat at Birchpaw. "Wait Flamepaw! You don't understand!" Birchpaw tried to calm Flamepaw down. "I don't care, you were just using me to get closer to other cats!" Flamepaw snapped, before dashing off back towards camp. "Great job Birchpaw...." Stonepaw growled at him, before walking off. "What have I done...?" Birchpaw felt tears sting his eyes.
