The other games intro were find but Pokemon Sun and Moon, it took me a whole 20 mins. just to read all dialogues of the intro.

Well I just want to just skip the stuff everyone always knows, I mean in the game your at lest ten, and at one point you have to know about stuff before exploring.

Well, I know in Gen4 they imply leaving town before you have a Pokémon is dangerous. Professor Rowan stops you before you go into the tall grass, and there's really no way between towns that doesn't involve tall grass or other places where wild Pokémon could come after a human. But I still agree it's a bit silly.

My main duo of characters have traveled with their family throughout their childhood to all sorts of places in the past, and they've been trouble-finding little explorers the whole time (arguably, trouble finds them, most of the time). When I properly write the start of their real journeys on their own, they won't need somebody telling them what these things are. They're even already somewhat experienced in battling- though it was more out of necessity than as a trainer-Pokémon pair (as is the case during their proper adventures). I mean, the only part of the 'basics' they don't necessarily know is 'catching' Pokémon, but even then they have their own method that is possible since one of them is a Psychic-type that can bridge the gap between human and Pokémon communication and outright ASK a prospective new party member if they want to come with them.

They're also in their teens already once they begin wandering Hoenn independent of their parents. Rather curious to find height/age charts for the player characters that say Gen3 protagonists are 13, the Gen5 ones are about 16, and Gen6 are 18.
