JUN.sure you haven't heard from me for... couple of years now, but that doesn't mean i have forgotten about you! story of my past 2 years will have to be illustrated in another page, but to say the least, i really missed everyone very much. i feel i have grown up to have better understanding of this wonderful art community we call DA, and what it really means to me.
please, stay tuned. tale of my life will unfold for your entertainment, next time you see me.
now, about the picture...
Last year i had privilege to to work with talented indy film director/writer Michael Ojeda, from Reigning Pictures.
this picture, is one of the early visualization of key moment in the story, and developed for cover art for Graphic novel adaptation.
as of now, this Project was put onto SLEEP mode, because both Michael and myself had to move on to different project, but now we feel that new life is being inserted into this potent project. hopefully, on next piece i would be able to tell you more about this project!

Love the colours you used here, they set the mood really well. The entire scene is really easy to get into, because of the composition and overall motion of the picture...

this is amazing work truly! do you use many filters and effects to get your textures or are you more of a straight up multi-sized hard edged brush with opacity adjustments kind of guy? love the textures and the lighting great work!

hardly any filter work is involved in this. but definately brushes and texture-layer opacity tricks involved.

Any tutorials you recommend? I'd love to get into full on illustration work. I dreamed of getting into comics once but i find myself more of a one shot sort of guy so covers are right up my alley!
