Description
Mesmeris Placebo,the goddess of 12th deity kindom.
the string is her vein, opening the portal to the core conscious of whomever dares to look into her third eye, according to the dead.
this concept art is roughly inspired by the Hindu goddess Durga, however, this character is purely created as a fantasy entity. No manafestation of my faithful devotion towards any known religious group took place before, during, or after creating this piece.

i like how her horns are the hilt of a samurai sword and the background looks like anciant illustrations coming to life. her long and curving nails look so real. the desctiption you've given her really makes her intriguing.

Dude, Your artwork is now one of the sole reasons I will come to deviant art. I just recently remembered I had an account here, and once I figured out how to get to Shaggyoz's gallery, I checked out some of the icons he had there seeing as I figured it was his "artists watched" list and I remembered him saying how he clicks on icons he thinks are cool, funny, sometimes stupid and they turn out to be the icons of the best artists on the site. Then I saw your gallery here, and I remembered "this is the guy whos artwork Oz went balistic over", so I checked it out and shit am I glad I did. You so give graphic artists a good name, wish I was remotely close to halfway of 1/4 as good as you are. I barely know about layering and coloring and you've got fully colored (VERY well done btw) pics that blow peoples' minds. Love your work man!

Wonderfull peice, I love the detail and splendour you portray in every image. This is fantastic, personaly I consider deities to be a rarity on Deviantart or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, I don't know but in any case this is an exelent peice. Your intricate use of the string is unusual but it's not like you see a dragon coming from a finger either. I guess my first thoughts when I saw this peice was a confusion between if it was Oriental or Asian the dragon and symbols I relate to Japanese/Chinise/Korean etc. and the six armed woman is very reminicient of Gnisha (the Indian elephant god).
But in any case congratulations on another peiece.
