this really shouldnt be the first piece i post with '06 on it, but i couldnt resist to share. its been a while i painted anything for personal funnness... and i used all the PINK i can possibly use for a whole year, so you shouldnt see too much candy coated color pallettes in my gallery^^.painterIX and PSCSII, with wacom

Yeah excellent heavy framing. Works well with the innocent nature of the figure, and makes it almost 'dirtier' to enter into..Plus it gives it a type of expensive feel..elegant.

How did you accomplish the extreme realism on the boy like that? It's very photographic and to the naked eye appears as though you simply altered the face of a model and brushed in over her body a little. However, being familiar with your work, I wouldn't doubt that this was entirely fabricated, with use of reference.

trick, in my humble opinion is you spend half of the time painting... CONSTRUCTING, then spend the other half, DECONSTRUCTING. it really began to have realistic look once i began to thrash the details.

Interesting, very very interesting. I've always thought of painting as 2 dimensional sculpture, but always as additive. Subtracting never really occured to me, but in the digital realm it makes a lot of sense.

I was thinking " wow, HOON hasn't posted anything in a while." O well it was worth it. Nice pose and colors. I really like the water drops on her skin and how the cloth actually looks as if it was wet. If u could give me the tips I would appreciate it a lot.

Sorry, dont like the outline.
It creates a barrier between the milk/water and her legs. So it makes her look like she's lost her legs and floats atop the fluid. It doesnt look as if the legs go all the way to the bottom of the water. Even the ripples dont help.
other than that...wow. I love the skintones on her back, looks friggin realistic. Took you long?
