PSCS speed painting about 2 hours with photo ref.
ohhhh. also.. yes. i am aware of the title... yes. good band indeed.

very cool, it's one of those images where you have to look twice, make sure that the innocent girl who doesn't look like she's worried that there is a crate of bombs on her back actually does have a crate of bombs on her back

Great pic too.....only bit I don't like is the "TNT"s ....they just look thrown on at the last minute. They don't look as though they're on the bombs...................but then I guess it's a speedpainting

My only critique would be that TNT text on the bombs seems a little hard and thin in comparison to the rest of the pic, maybe even unnecessary. Perhaps if it was thickened and softened a little bit it would blend in more nicely, though I wouldn't complain if you removed the text altogether

Wow! This is awesome. I love the contrast between the girl and the bombs, it's really surreal. The girl's face is very well done, I love her hair and expression.

There's a slight look of shock or something on her face.
Is she feeling guilt, contemplating her own death? Maybe she's just been found out (not like she's trying to hide her explosive intentions...)

On a more serious note, do you have any tips on how to use black in a painting? All they would teach us kids in art school was to NOT use it... but that's like telling kids not to have sex!
Like, especially in the hair where you have red black on one half, and blue black on the other... any advice?
