Strange, that there is no highlight on the left leg - there is one on the left arm, and the mid-bottom part of the backpack (none on the hood and top of the backpack, so the light is coming from bottom-right, I think)...

Nope if you look the light source is almost top-right. There are highlights on the hood by the backpack.

But not the top of the hood? Hmmm... it a very good picture, I just can't understand the highlight, though it does stop me from liking the overall image.

No it shouldn't have any light hitting the top of the hood. The lighting is at an odd angle, but you can definitely see that the highlights are where they should be.
