Now thats strange... 2 years ago i painted a "mermaid" too in a same way... it really reminds me of my own painting. And i love the way you work. Every single painting takes my breath. Thank you

She does have rather long neck doesn't she? First I thought about swan but that doesn't make sense when she looks like a snake. Somehow this pic or painting makes me laugh because my absurde ideas about this snake lady :3
For me it looks like she doesn't have neck at all because her hairs are in the way. So it almost looks like that her head is flowing and her eyes looks bored, sad or littly bit dead. Makes you feel that she doesn't care damn about nothing.
I also think foolish questions like where is her other hand and are those hairs at all or is she bleeding? I think those questions ain't important because it's more about atmosphere. It's hopeful but still diseponted kind of as you lost your big chance for something what you love or make you feel importand and wanted.
I like this pic but I would like to see where she is. I have this swamp feeling all over it. Not like in horror movies where those are all over made. I mean something like this --->[link]
