Okay, so =Ashuri and I were watching the new Star Trek movie (Chris Pine ) two weeks ago, and in the beginning, the original captain Captain Robau in the prologue goes aboard the romulan ship and gets killed. Now, on the U.S.S Kelvin (I believe), across the screen, it shows in a BIG RED WARNING: TERMINATED. =Ashuri brought up the idea, that if Kaelin was on a particularly dangerous hit, and somehow had a sensor on him that had his vitals that got damaged or destroyed, it would do the same thing at headquarters. If he ever got into a big enough mess where all the other assassins were watching, and THIS happened, Venus would just LOSE it. She'd freak out, go postal!
Eventually taken home, Venus would solemnly enter her home to find a light shining through the darkness, coming from the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, she'd find her beloved husband, standing at the fridge door, opening a 'cold one'. Immediately overcome by a mix of emotions, she would embrace her battered husband in a tight hug, sobbing into his shoulder.....I should write a short for this...maybe it would add more to the picture we'll see.

So yeah, Kaelin almost died, Venus thought he DID die, and found him, beaten and bloody, but alive. HUGS FOR ALL!

About the piiiictuuuure. I like how it turned out, I'm glad I did this. I almost flattened all the layers and saved the file without adding all the blood and dirt to Kaelin. Ruined my tedious colouring on his skin and pants, but I think it turned out well. I also like Venus's leather.
There's a lot of emotion in this picture, I think. Venus rarely shows much affection to Kaelin in such a way, that this would shock him, and that's also something I really like about it...also, I think the positioning turned out well. I have a hard time drawing people together without some part of it being wonky...looks good.

Poor Kay-Kay.
