A nanosecond before I had a cat on my head
It was EXACTLY the VERY short moment before she jumps to attack me (OK, not me the toy my LOVELY girlfriend puts on my head, sometimes I love her so much I could kill her 
)But thats was worth becauce I love her facial expression on this picture so much! And the neck-scratches are healing!!

Was the cat in play-mode? Claws out, eyes dialated. That is the look my cat gives when he is about to pounce on me, the dog, etc.

Allerdings würd ich nicht auf einen Siam-Mix tippen, sondern auf einen Tonkanesen-Mix, da die Fellfarbe wohl eher mink als point ist (point kommt nur in Verbindung mit blauen Augen vor und für point ist sie allgemein ein bissel zu dunkel).
Anyway - wunderschöne Katze und wunderschönes Foto!

Natürlich darf man meine Bilder als Vorlagen für Zeichnungen und Malereien benutzen. Nur die Benutzung des Fotos an sich oder für eine digitale Bildbearbeitung ist nicht erlaubt!)

[Sorry to plunge in, and in English too - unfortunately I lack the vocabulary to discuss these matters in German!]
She is definitely not a house cat x Siamese mix. The point colouration is recessive, so the kittens would have "normal" colours - unless the house cat is of a mixed breed and carries the point colouration. That would be rare for a street cat, though, since the point colouration always comes from an "exotic" breed and does not occur in our domestic, i.e. local European, cats.
I agree with LittleMissRaven on the possible Burmese or Tonkinese background, Nelly's colour looks like mink. However, her type does not really resemble either breed (the ears are set closely together, for example), and if you don't know her background, it doesn't really matter what breed she may or may not be, I would simply call her a mix. (Though it saddens me someone has been irresponsible with their purebred cats...)
That doesn't change the fact that Nelly is beautiful, though! And the photo is exquisite as well, a stunning capture. I'm definitely adding this one to my favourites! I hope she'll find a loving home soon.

Getigert würde das Ganze dann so aussehen wie mein Tarik (seal tabby point). Im Prinzip hat er die gleiche Farbe wie Tía, allerdings hat er zusätzlich noch ein Tigermuster.
