I had planned to take this into Painter for some finishing touches, but the more I looked at it, the more I grew to like it just the way it is. So, I'm submitting it just like this.

With that said, this is my version of the 'demon' Lilith, Queen of the Demons, first wife of Adam, current wife of Satan as well as the mother of my character Damien Lucifer and all that spiffy stuff. I originally created my version of her back in '99 I think it was, and I've just now designed a look for her which I'm happy with.

I experimented alot while working with this piece. First off, I used to draw in a more semi-realistic style than I do currently and tried to bring that out in the linework (which I think turned out quite well). I also "painted" her skin a little differently than my usual soft cell-shading style (I was aiming for a more realistic skintone, but it went awry). Plus, I used a gradient on her hair and put some little reflective "dot" thingies in it. Her pose was borrowed from a piece ~pu-sama posted in her LJ awhile back, but with a few changes.

The snake in the picture was just going to be a regular snake, but as I was working, I decided to make it a part of her energy signature. Since she is Adam's first wife, I thought having 'energy snake' familiars to do her bidding seemed very fitting

I almost made the apple in her hand work like a Sentinel Sphere from the Phantasm movies, but I thought that might be a bit much, at least for this picture. I think I may very well use that idea in another piece though...as a matter of fact, I'm positive I will.
