HOLY CRAP I WON FIRST PLACE!
I finally got this done, and just in time too since I've been busy planning for school as well as suffering from infected wisdom teeth.
My mom says she looks like She-Ra.
Anyway, this is for DracheaRannak's "Sailor Sun and Sailor Earth Contest" here on DA. She is SailorSolInvictus ("Unconquered Sun)", an aeons old Guardian of the Solar System and my equivaliant of the usual "SailorSun" (which I'm sure EVERY person who ever created otaku senshi has made a SailorSun/Sol at some point), and she will only awaken when the Universe is in grave danger.
She came out a little shorter than I oroginally intended, but then again the Sun IS a Yellow Dwarf so that's my excuse.
I was inspired by several things when I designed her: Feliane 's "Summer" piece (for the "Sun Ray" part of the headgear) and Romanesque style armour (since I saw OpalLynn do some similarly designed senshi fukus awhile ago). Also, I saw a painting by Dorian Cleavenger awhile back (I think it was titled "Planet Keeper") which inspired me to give SailorSolInvictus a staff.
Needless to say, I had a lot of fun with this one. Enjoy!

Celestial Corona - Using her crown, she creates a protective heat aura around herself as well as her allies.
Solar Wind - With a swing of her Sun Staff, she sends an orb of Solar Energy at a single opponent.
Feuerräder" - Sends flaming wheels of solar fire at the enemy.
Solar Storm - An extremely powerful attack where SailorSolInvictus sacrifices herself in an explosion of seering heat and fire on a sub-Atomic level; Used as a last resort.

Well, yeah they did take the form of men, but it was more like dressing as men or something like that. Maybe the animators, like most of us, misunderstood. Naoko-Sama should be more clear on such things!

What lovely bronzed skin she has! Usually people make that kind of tan far to orange and it's a little unsettling to look at. xD This though is wonderful. Hmm, maybe you might want to alter the base coloring of her armor, it seems to blend into her skin giving the appearance of something like a bathing suit tan... It's hard to describe.

Hmmm...did you ever get that LCD monirot you were saving for? I'm still using a CRT and the bas armour looks fine on my screen. >.>; Or it could be all that 'donkey choking' magick. Who knows. XD
But thank you. I'm not big on the 'orange' tan myself, so I try to do more bronze/golden tans.

I'm still using my CRT monitor and it's giving me a different color so it could just be our different calibrations. Hmm, on my end the armor base looks like a flesh tone with a touch of gray. What color were you going for? Like a white gold?

Yeah, I was going for a golden colour, but kind of a white gold since I'm not a big fan of the yellow variety. ^.^;

Oooh, also nice, gotta love the roman centurion looks she's got going! The headpiece is great, I've been wanting to do something similar for my Sailor Sol, but I'm going to have to figure out how that works with her hair! 
But still, she's no cyborg.

lol. I thought so, and her eyes are a similar colour to Galaxia's at well.
SolInvictus' hair is actually six different shades of gradient too, but it's hard to see. >.>;

She looks like a Rich Gladiator, crowd fave decked out in jewls and shiny armour.
I like the fadeing of yellow to red on her hair and clothing pieces and statue of Liberty hat ^.^ actually I saw a headpiece similur to this in a goth fashion boutique, I like it, maybe her forehead guard could have had the side bit's comming down beside the ears like Aphrodite is sometime pictured wearing? but thats me just waffeling.
I like her expression as it's unplaceable, one of those subtle looks that could be thinking anything, lookout... like a real goddess.
all together I feel she's a very loverly tight knit desighn, she works, nothing looks out of place.

Well, I didn't have a chance to flesh out terra-X as much as SailorSolInvictus, plus she's probably been in suspended animation for aeons...not as long as SailorSolInvictus, but still a long time.
Regardless, I like my Terra-X more than SolInvictus here.
