Reprocessed for the new site - [link]I captured this 3 years ago in a reserve in a mountain valley just outside my home town. Though the lane still stands, the plantations around it have burned down and the ground within the reserve is being rehabilitated to it's natural flora. So this scene will never be the same again.

UMMM...haha. what snow are you talking about? Ironic you ask. The only snow we ever get falls in this valley. And it only falls in those once in 5 years winters

yeah. You should go exploring some forests. Forests are cool because you don't need such a vast area for a nice photo.

I know, I've tried a few shots in the forest but it's pretty hard to get a pleasing composition because there is so much detail everywhere and the photos look just overloaded. but I think I'll give it another try in the near future

yeah you need to stay above F11 at least to get good focus through the whole scene

S.A isn't really famous for autumn colors....we don't have proper forests that lose their leaves in autumn
