So i just adore your Quail art, i am going through a phase right now where i think quails are just he coolest animals (Quails are the new Platypus') and when i m across your art, my spirit just got brighter! Thank you so much for the comment, and I'm glad you love them. I feel like I'm drawing and painting all day by myself in a vacuum, with no human contact or input. It's nice to hear from a fellow artist, who cares, and enjoys what I do.
I went to your site, and see you enjoy drawing predators, wolves, and such. Try drawing on a good bristol paper, and using the Rafine 2B through 8B Graphite Pencils. I just started using them this year, and also the Prismacolor Woodless Pencils in 4B, 6B, and 8B made in Germany are fantastic. They help you achieve dark blacks, and subtle shades of gray without pressing down hard, and damaging the surface of the paper. I am so glad to have had some positive feed back on my art today.
