“A cool blue mood sits perched in the sky, shining upon and illuminating your beauty; why?” Tad recited from his poetry book.

“Can you cut this poetry, bs?” his roommate Caleb snapped. “You put on this ridiculous get-up, and you think you’re some chick and you can write poetry?”

“Did you know Aaron Sorkin broke his nose while writing because he acts out his stories dialog?” Tad informed. “So, if dressing up as a “chick” works, I’ll do it.”

Tad was a local poetry legend. He had works published and was well renowned in the underground community. But such notoriety can cause some trials and tribulations. While working on his new set of poetry, he suddenly lost his ability to write. He spent weeks scribbling away, lines that didn’t flow the same as they used to, and negative comments filled his head; Tad began feeling the pressure. So much so that while sitting at a poetry lounge one evening drinking, an idea hit him. So inspired by a young woman on stage reciting her writing, Tad imagined what it would be like to be her. So much so, he went home and ordered clothes just like her to dress up as to break his poetry cold streak. While the creative juices are floating, Tad does feel silly writing poetry in women’s clothing. But, if it works, it works.
