Wallace and Nakia were working on their PhDs in biology. For their final class, they must write a thesis on the experiment they’ve been doing for the last four years. Wallace and Nakia were working on a thyroid medicine that would help those who had hypothyroidism. It was a lofty goal, but they were making promising advancements after numerous collaborations with other departments. When day one of starting the trial began, Wallace, who suffered from Hypothyroidism, nominated himself to be a test subject.

Tim took the pills twice a day, and together Wallace and Nakia carefully studied the results. While his metabolism was balanced and he lost considerable weight, they noticed other changes. Wallace began to slim considerably, and his body hair began to fall out. Additionally, his hair started growing quickly and had a fuller look. Nakia wanted to halt the experiment, but Wallace insisted they were onto something. Together they continued and documented the transformation. By week three, Wallace was developing breasts and noticed increased amounts of estrogen in his system. Neither knew how to make heads or tails of their findings. While they found a cure for Hypothyroidism, they also seemed to find an estrogen enhancer, leaving them confused. But Wallace was still impressed by the outcome.
