Angelo didn’t know when the ring-spun; it would change the gender of the wearer completely and without people noticing. He kept this power on the low, only self-exploring in his free time. Tonight, he was going to help Carlton.

Transforming and dressing up, under the persona Angel, Angelo knocked at Carlton’s apartment. When Carlton opened the door, Angel explained she was new to the building and heard there were some residents around her age and if he wanted to get a drink. Enthusiastically, Carlton agreed, and they spent the evening at the bar. After a few drinks, Carlton spilled his guts to Angelo, who offered advice on overcoming these troubling times. Carlton was grateful for the advice, and with a kiss on the cheek, Angelo left Carlton at the bar confused and intoxicated.
