Rainbow Dash peeked out from behind the curtain and sighed. It was her first solo performance, but the weather couldn't have been worse. It was raining so hard that it can soak a person to the skin in seconds, but not hard enough to cancel the performance. And all she was wearing was the little black dress Rarity designed. The crowd was out there getting restless, umbrellas and glow sticks at the ready. She took a deep breath and walked out into the torrential rainstorm to perform her opening number. She had only one thought as she sang under the pouring rain:
"The show must go on."

I think it's the fang and the bangs that ties it all together. Really great work!
SIDE NOTE: Every time I see "singing in the rain," I don't think about the musical.
I think about Red Rain by Ninetailedbrush. Now I picture Rainbow as the infiltrator in Red Rain.
