Description
Hermaphrodite, drawing for the cover of the band schammaschschammasch.com/
The album is inpired in "Les Chants de Maldoror" written and published between 1868 and 1869 by the Comte de Lautréamont, the nom de plume of the Uruguayan-born French writer Isidore Lucien Ducasse.
"There, in a grove surrounded by flowers, the hermaphrodite sleeps, with a deep sleep, on the grass moistened by her tears. The moon has detached its disk from the mass of clouds and advertising with its rays. His features express both the most virile energy and the grace of a celestial virgin. Nothing seems natural in him, not even the muscles of his body, which make their way through the harmonious contours of feminine forms."
