there's so much more i feel i could improve in this image, but i've hit a point where it's not fun anymore. i've stared at it too long and need to set it down, call it done. still pretty happy with it overall! i like their noses :3

based on an rp with Ka!

`The bear had stolen her attention. She'd even abandoned her two previous hunting companions for the sake of it. Oh, they'd gotten their kill and could handle the corpse just fine, she was sure. Still, she knew in the back of her mind that the 'right' thing to do was to stay behind and keep an eye out for further danger. Right or not, the guardians were lost to her mind when the bear became a fixation.

Day in and day out, she stalked it mindlessly and harassed it endlessly. Her aim was not to tempt its wrath or the death if could deliver to her. She had no desire for pain or injury and it's not as though she sought to make a name for herself. If all went to plan, no one would know what she'd been up to or what she'd done.

Then again, it's not as though she could ever carry out the hunting of a bear on her own. But, as fate would have it, she wouldn't have to. Help first came in the form of Loch who sought her out after her initial disappearance. Ever her savior, it's not as though he could let her go missing for too long. Iorikh and Kviir were the next to join. Despite the growing tensions between the two packs, they join the Tundes oddballs in their foolish endeavor.

Call it a lapse of sanity. Call it a great catharsis. Call it what you will: the hunting of a bear.
