I was wanting to make this for over a month now. But it was a daunting task to undertake and it wasnβt easy. Now I wish I could take full credit for the design but the original was made by Adams-Twins [link] and as soon as I saw it I knew I just wanted to remake this. The design and colors, everything was different to the style I draw. Plus there was nothing past his knees in the original image. So I enlarged it a lot, to start with and draw the pants and boots myself plus some of the sword as well. Next the hair was a challenge (just so much of it) and the most difficult part was the jacket. Very difficult to redraw and the shadowing was a lot different as well. Plus most of the bottom half of the jackets were missing, so that was a challenge. It has taken a long time to redraw and color the whole image in the style of the Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 2 & 3 video games, but I feel its good enough.Original version made by the Adams-Twins [link]

overall i love how you designed future trunks like this. especially have his sword on his waist like a samurai you know? can Β you do more designs like this? trunks is so cool with his sword no lie. goodness his hair is like everywhere its awesome! can't imagine him going ssj his hair would be like...everywhere xD

I really wish he had made a come back during the Super Android #17 Saga. He could have rescued his other self from Android #17 and then helped Vegeta fight Super Android #17 as a Super Saiyan 3 (which he obtains during his Timeline's Majin Buu Saga [as shown in Dragon Ball Z: Heroes])!
