I started working on this artwork before I made and posted up Videl (my previous posted artwork). This one being an artwork more involved and complex at time to make. As I always find Future Trunks very hard to make, that mostly being his jacket. But with that being said Future Trunks and Bardock are (some may know this already) my two favorite characters to make, hand down.So a notable detail from my previous Trunks SSJ3 [link] artwork is he has two bangs hanging down his face. Personally I'm not sure if it would be like that in the anime series but I do think it makes the SSJ3 form more unique and recognizable to Trunks and Trunks only. You may note his hair his recognizable to Future Trunks SSJ form in the way the blade of hair flow in this form. And that it's made so it does not look like Goku's hair, which are thicker style and cut that fit to Goku himself.
P.S I have made a version in this pose of him as a SSJ2, but not sure if I will post it up yet, or at all.

Im stupid for not realizing this, but Gohan can indeed go SSJ3. For some reason I thought only full saiyans could go into 3 and above but I forgot about Gotenks, whos composed of two half saiyans. Then again this may only be caused by the fusion itself but id say half saiyans could indeed achieve 3. That being said, maybe a SSJ3 Gohan would be awesome to see?

Yeah half saiyan can for sure go SSJ3 but not SSJ4. And I have always wonted to make Gohan SSJ3, but never have because I have never been sure how his hair should look like and to make sure he does not look like Goku.

Well the key factor is that Gohan's hair is relatively short and spiky. Given the look of his hair it would be something like this [link] [link] [link] [link]
In regards to SSJ4 I dont think it was established you had to be a full saiyan. You just had to be powerful to achieve the Gold Oozaru form and master it which also included your tail had to be a certain length. That being said given time and training Gohan could likely achieve SSJ4.

I have always thought moxie2D (the first and last link) are the best and most likely design for his hair. That's part of the other reason why I have not made him in the SSJ3 form because moxie2D has achieve both teen and adult perfectly.

Hmm, you could always ask his permission to use the hairstyle he created as you did with SSJ Gohan using the hair from The Devil's Corpse.

I'm this was said in the comments somewhere but I would love to see this trunks take on Metal Frieza, King Cold, all the Androids...the Saga would have ended a lot quicker.

Thanks mate glad you like the over all artwork I have made here. Yeah I agree with what you said on the different Trunks version we saw through out the series. Always interest how what they did or did not go through in there live made them who they become, I guess like any of use. Kid Trunks really had it pretty easy up to the point were we first see him, compared to Future Trunks who went through hell. Of course I'll thank you like usually for faving my artwork.

It looks great, but that lightning bolt in front of his sword makes it looks to me like his sword is Ssj3 too.

Thanks, the lightning bolt is more going from his hair so it would normal go down the body from there but the sword is conducting the bolt. Anyway it just an effect the focus in meant to be on the SSJ3 hair, not on the sword.
