Description
So there is a few version of Pan as a super Saiyan that people have made, one being in DBM. But I wonted a version that would look like it would have been in GT. So the hairstyle is base of Trunks’ as I think all female's hair design would resemble him as he as hair like a girl. Hair is made by scratch but I used Trunks' style as a reference for lines, angles lightning and shadows, though the Trunks SSJ was on a different angle.Hair was done a week ago which I thought would have been the hardest part but I was wrong about that. I spent so much time on her pose, as there seems to be no real references of her in artworks or screen shots, nothing good a all aspect a few which were the same used and seen over and over again. Most pic of her have wearing different outfit people have made ect.
Also the face was real hard, I must have come up with more then ten final version of her facial expression. I can see at times why there never was a female Super Saiyan. I had smaller eyes like Super Saiyan usually have but it looked odd and she had a rat face look about her for some reason. So I had to keep them fairly big, plus adding black pupils, as there was too much green. You get away with that in a male Super Saiyan because their pupils are smaller as everyone knows.
In the end it took way to long and I’m so ever this pic by now, I look forward to moving on to something new.
New version of Bra - Base, SSJ and SSJ2 to come, plus only one more pic of Pan (no SSJ2) to come in a Base form, in a new outfit in the future. I intend to take a little brake again form female, as I did not intend to make any more it the first place.

Yeah females are so hard to make. And not really, just have to search all through Google images and here on deviantart. I found a lot of the nude or almost nude anime artwork very good for body parts.

This is what should have happened in GT. Pan should have surprised all of us by becoming a Super Saiyan at such a young age.

Goten and Trunks went SSJ as young kids, given Pan has less saiyan blood and so on. It would have been something original and help GT get some respected. Thanks for the Buu fav by the way.

I actually think you got the hair down on this version of Pan (or close enough anyway lol). It is said that doing Super Saiyan is extremely hard because you have to make it match their base form's style. Some people are just too lazy to try and stick a photocopy of Goku's hair on her...or they can't figure it out. lol
Also, the main reason why there weren't any female Super Saiyans (in the main series anyway seeing as how Dragonball Online and Dragonball Heroes have female Super Saiyans) is because Akira simply couldn't figure out how to draw them (and that Pan plus Bra didn't have the motivation to achieve it). Frankly, I could understand and get your meaning.

Thank you so much and for the comment plus for the favs. Yeah I don't get why there was no female Super Saiyan besides the fact you pointed out there would be no real motivation to achieve it. There have been a few good version of a female as a super saiyan and these people have proven that it not that hard to make a female look really good in the SSJ form. That said there is some really bad versions out there like that you pointed out people just putting Goku's SSJ hair on say Pan's head. Basically it could have been done, but hey a lot of things could have been different in the series but more often then not the series was almost perfect.

Yeah it's probably because Akira wanted to make a female's Super Saiyan transformation appear more feminine, but couldn't figure out how. Most of the traits for Super Saiyan are, in fact, represented as male traits so I doubt Akira wanted to give Pan something like that. Of course, the fans managed to make it work and it's shown in Dragonball Online and Dragonball Heroes that the concept can work perfectly if you know what you're doing.
But yeah I'd say the primary reason was lack of motivation. Nonetheless, it doesn't hurt to envision right? lol

Yeah that's right it does not hurt to envision, that's for sure. And another good point too, most of the traits seen by a Super Saiyan are, in fact, represented as male traits. So that's a definite factor why we may have never seen a female Super Saiyan in the series.

Yep, but it's safe to say that the "didn't have the motivation to transform" part is the dominant reason for this.

Pan should of been a super saiyan least we forget Goten one and he's the weakest most pointless character in the series. Goten exist purely as a fusion partner and friend to kid Trunks and unlike Trunks who trained under Vegeta (who wouldn't go SSJ training with his crazy a$s) Goten became SSJ through Chi-Chi, a person he was prolly born stronger then. Japan is a bit sexist and that's why I don't think Pan got the respect she deserved.
