Just to let everyone know I have see Trunks SSJ3 heroβs version, I am very a wear of everything that is Dragon Ball Z, new or old.I made Trunks SSJ2 [link] some time ago and I always wonted to make SSJ3. The hair took way longer then I thought it first was going too. Had a different style at the beginning and so I played around with it to I was happy with it, like you do.
Dragon Ball Heroes arcade-only game were you use card based system but instead of buttons, were the player needs to move the cards on the game board. I have seen that picture and it looks cool but is 100% wrong, people that made the game know nothing about Dragon Ball Z. Looks like they used Goku's hair, the blades of hair are thick and flowing in different places, he also has to thin blades of hair over his face that only SSJ form would have. Example Goku lose more and more blades of hair over his face in each form. Goku SSJ has five and SSJ3 has one, so Trunks would have none like Gotenks. Gotenks one half is Goten, who has five blades of hair over the face yet when fuse with Trunks, Gotenks has none. Why, because of the influence of Trunks is more dominant then Gotenks, so Future Trunks would have none. That picture though like I said looks cool, makes me angry because it is so wrong.

I really hate to say this, but SSJ3 Trunks is in Dragonball Heroes. Look up dbzanto on youtube. Very good art though!

I have seen it and it looks very wrong, it looks like they used Goku's SSJ3 hair. Because Trunks base hair is long strains of hair, so when he would go SSJ3 it would be long thin flowing blades of hair going in one direction. Hero's Trunks SSJ3 looks like Goku's because the blades are short, thick and flowing in different places like Goku's base hair. All they did is was put no thought into it and just used Goku's SSJ3 hair, thinking SSJ3 is all the same because itβs long, that it would not make a difference, but it does.

Man not again, what's up with my Trunks SSJ3 with blue hair it looks almost, or if not just the same as the last one. I wounder if it is the same guy again. Thanks for letting me know, nice to know a few people are looking out for me.

No he would not, if Goku has 5 bangs in his SSJ form and is left with just one in his SSJ3 form. Then Trunks only having 2 tiny bangs in his SSJ form he would be left with none in his SSJ3 form. As a Saiyan progress in each form their hair stands up more and grows with length.

If goku had six bangs in ssj1 and 3 in ssj2 depending on trunks hair style as in long like young bulma or short like when he fought metal freeza.
If his hair was long and just like he went Super Trunks 2 he would have @ least 1 Bang.

Trunks has two bangs in his SSJ form, in his SSJ2 form he has one so in his SSJ3 form he would be left with none. Gotenks has none and he is half Trunks, Goten has four bangs. So by your logic Gotenks should at least have one bang, right? Like I said before each form there should be less and less bangs and Goku is the best example of that. So lets say someone had like six or seven bangs in his SSJ form he most likely have 2 bangs in his SSJ3 form, it just how it works.

but look at ssj3 broly on the video game : DBZ raging Blast.
He has a bang going down his face. needless to say you know that him and trunks hair are damn there identicle in every way except for the back hair going down

Broly and Trunks hair are different. Broly has thicker hair, with Trunks's hair is a lot thinner giving him more blades of hair. The only reason people confuse the two and think they look the same is because the hair protrudes straight out of the middle of their heads on an angle. Personally I don't think Broly would have that one bang of hair like Goku has in his SSJ3 form, it is only fake game art at the end of the day.

I have to say, I think you do an even better job than the show in keeping the character's facial features present in their SS3 forms. I always thought they kind of failed in making the SS# forms unique to each character, but you pull it off perfectly. ^_^
