i love the happy tree character i never leave the characters but i am so heartbroken to see all the animals look like this but i can’t go on like this i always love the animals same as  flippyxflaky but i am a one of the normal fans same as the couple i’m so sorry about this fandom ...

The true problems that made people escape the HTF fandom, are:

- homophobia - I saw many of the "clean HTF artists", who were hating on the homosexual fanpairings and making fun of the homosexual people. They were even making fun of the pansexual people. There were even the cases of the attacks on a bisexual girl. Because of all that anti-yaoi mess there are no gay artists in the HTF fandom.

- misogyny and body-shaming - after all that anti-sexyHTF propaganda people were overusing the words such as "slut", "bitch", "whore" as, if it was a synonim of everything. People were calling the females the "whores" for acting bad. People were calling the females the "whores" for wearing skirts. People were calling some of the females the "whores" even for being lesbian or bisexual. There were the people, who called themselves the feminists, but their "feminists" ended, when they saw the voluptuous females. People were calling the females the "whores" for being non-slim/non-flat. Once one "clean girl" wrote one comment "breasts = slut". It's ridiculous. Were they so affraid of body matureness? I saw many cases of people calling tome art "pornography" only because of a character being naked. Also I saw someone calling one drawing a porn only because of a voluptuous female HTF fan character being in a bikini. Are they fucking serious? I swear a character was not showing up any vaginas or something like that. If a HTF character in a standard HTF form is naked, nobody makes problem of it, but if a curvy one is, everyone loses a mind. Nobody is making problem of the muscular male HTF fan characters. It's a real misogyny. It makes HTF fandom look like ISIS. What kind of the "feminists" the girls are, if they are supporting this cases of misogyny? Are all females supposed to be so skinny to be accepted in the HTF fandom?

- superiority of the talented artists - there were the artists, who were able to draw very realistic stuff, but there was one problem in it. They were mean towards anyone, who had different tastes and were looking down to others. They were killing the dreams of the less-skilled ones. The worst thing is, that they were really bullying some people such as homosexuals. I do not wonder why they were not famous.

- hate art - one of the most immature ways to gain the followers. We have 2015 and people are still making hate art on Ale as, if she was worse than Adolf Hitler. A funny thing is, that they don't know the today art of her and don't know her actual username. The today 

- ableism - that's right. People were making fun of the autistic people, because they are not well. I was a victim of this shit. People were thinking it's so easy to make such people look insane, if they are bullied by the "righteous people".

- artistic slavery and backstabbers - I was a victim of a toxic friendship, which was about forcing others to make the requests. I could not oppose them that much, since the anti-sexyHTF propaganda followers were ruling the HTF fandom. 50% of the requests were about me being humiliated by their characters. I know also the people, who became the friends of PumaHTF only because she censored her way of drawing HTF. Since PumaHTF returned to sexyHTF, they betrayed her and were hating on her even more. It was a kind of racism, because I was seeing a black person doing as a white person wished.

- the hypocrisy of the "clean HTF artists" - if they were seeing a Flippy-Sues, they were falling below their level. Granted, some of them was even sending the death threats on Patty, because she was participating in the HTF fan characters voting in 2013. If such savages are supposed to be the "saviours of the HTF fandom", fuck this shit. I noticed the haters are not better. They say trolling is wrong, but they do it themselves. There was a case, where someone was even telling me of for rejecting the "critiques" from one "clean artists", while they were rejecting more critiques themeselves. I shall not accept the critiques from someone, who rejects such stuff themselves. The critiques were not even constructive.

- a "clean female" theory - There are the cases of the females, who were superior for being the tomboys and calling any other females the "whores" for being girly, having curves and wearing skirts. Some of them was homophobic and was thinking any girls, who liked and accepted the curvy/voluptuous/big females, was gay.  An example of such people is a person, who wrote this comment "OK, i am female, i should not be looking at female pornography.", because a  female character wears a bikini. You're a female, so you should not look at the sexy women? What the hell? It sounds a bit homophobic, since such people think all girls, who enjoy looking at other sexy women, are lesbians. Some girls should understand there are also the girls, who enjoy watching the sexy or busty females.

Why always we, different ones, have to appologize instead of the "clean" ones? Are the "clean" ones affraid of admitting their faults?

I used to watch HTF when I was 11, until 2013. I rarely watch it now.
I don't watch it as much as I used, not because of the Fandom (Because I never knew about fandoms yet.) but because it takes forever for the creators to make a new episode.

I agree with this stamp crystal clear. No wonder the majority of HTF artists permanently left the fanbase for good. Well I'm still in the fanbase and I still do HTF-related pictures. You know I'm still going to be in the fanbase for a while. I'm also unsure if I'm the last person who is still in the HTF fanbase or if I'm the one who's causing all the screw-ups in the fanbase.

I'm not fan of creating rabbit OCs, nor drawing HTF rabbits. There is a Cuddles recolor I'm okay with in the fanbase and his name is Guddles, despite having an uncreative name and the red version of Cuddles, but at least I don't mind him existing.

I agree with the Giggles personality. I do like the old version of Giggles much better, and I'd rather ship CuddlesXGiggles because that shipping seems rather canon to me.

I don't mind FlippyXFlaky, nor would I care about it, but I'm not quite a fan of that shipping. If I'd rather ship Flaky to someone, I'd rather stick with BaronXFlaky, and yes, Baron's my OC FYI. I'd ship these two because they're both red all over and a red character shipping with another red character considers it to be one pure red heart. Here's the red heart

I absolutely agree with that paragraph, I do like Flippy as one of my favorite characters, but I do NOT like the Flippy Sues. I also have a dislike over Virginie Sues NOR would I ever care about Virginie. For your information, I would NEVER draw anything sexy HTF related. I agree with the concept of the show A LOT, HTF is supposed to be centered around adorable little critters experiencing extreme loads of gore and bloodshed, NOT oversized anthro sluts looking like animals looking forward to sex. My god, HTF is supposed to be gory, not pornographic.

Well thank goodness I'm still in the fanbase and thank goodness I stick with the normal cute HTF style.

P.S. I'm more interested in drawing male characters than female characters.

I like HTFs because they're fragile as newborn baby, but the fanbase is like this: when it comes to pairings, they favors this combo: CuddlesxGiggles with HandyxPetunia and FlippyxFlaky where Toothy is usually ends up being gay(usually paired with Nutty)

not to mention 1-year hiatus of HTF in 2011 renders HTF fanbase all but FUBAR

I used to LOVE Happy Tree Friends. I still kinda like the show, but indeed, the fanbase has gone to hell.
I've never really liked FlippyxFlaky to be honest, and about you mentioning FlippyxGiggles, MondoMedia actually did show Giggles dating Flippy on a Love Bites episode, and the comments were a shitstorm of butthurt FlippyxFlaky fans and I thought "Are you kidding me?" and got out of there. Seriously, it was ridiculous.

And I'm not even going to talk about the Flippy-sues or Sexy HTFs. There's really no need to...

It's not so much the show that sucks; rather, it's the fandom that needs fixing. People in the HTF fandom care so much about pairings you can't even draw one without receiving so much as a set of flames and rants. There's BARELY any gory art for the show. I can understand if some people can't draw it, but they really need to focus on something other than pairings. I do support some HTF pairings (mostly the underrated ones like Pop x Panda Mom), but I do strive to draw more gory art for the show than romantic art. When I DO draw romantic HTF art (which is rarely), I usually add blood, guts and gore like in Love Bites (isn't that why Love Bites exists?).

As for the bases, recolors, and Flippy Sues, I definitely despise them. I have no problem with MSPaint since it's not a crappy program like people say it is; hell, I still use it for some of my art when I have the time and patience, but bases and recolors are highly annoying and uncreative. The Flippy Sues are pretty bad too, not only because of the crappy anatomy, but because of their lousy bios and the fact that they only exist as a sex toy for Flippy (more like a punching bag or test dummy if you ask me). I never leave my fandoms unless the show itself goes downhill, NOT the fandom itself. Hell, Sonic, SpongeBob, and Hetalia's fandoms are all frickin nuts, yet I'm not gonna let the crazies ruin either series for me (though I'm not really into Sonic much anymore except for Maria Robotnik since she's my favorite).

I don't like it when people recolour some of the HTF and call it their own art, the drawings would be Original if you drawn up your own HTF's instead of recolouring them over.
