Description
In the Xixi National Wetland Park(西溪国家湿地公园), Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province. Xixi wetland is located in the northwest suburb of Hangzhou city, which was developed into a series of fish ponds during the republic of China. Starting in 2003, the government began to eliminate local aquaculture and restore the Xixi wetland to its original ecosystem. Xixi wetland is regarded as a model of China's ecological protection cause, like Saihan Ba (塞罕坝).
