I'm not a believer but a few months ago I've been contacted by a Harvard student in theology (MDiv), asking me if I would be interested to collaborate on his graduation project. I thought it was a great opportunity to do fantasy art and dive a little bit into this subject.
The project was to create a cross between an illuminated Bible and a graphic novel with artwork that captures a trippy, scary, otherworldly feel of the text. And next to these illustrations would figure his own translation of the Book of Revelation from the Greek text "Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece (28th Revised Edition)".
I had a blast working on some of those illustrations, and so I hope you will enjoy looking at them!
