I think I'm officially calling her done. I present the USS Polaris NCC - 9782.
Shortly after Captain Metlesits and the original Polaris were retired from service, it was decided that no other starship would bear the name. This decision however; was reversed decades later and a larger, more powerful ship based on the same configuration was commissioned. It was also given it's own Class...The Polaris Class Starship. Any further ships built with this configuration would also, in a manner, carry with it the history of Capt. Metlesits and his Polaris. It is Starfleet's hope that she will continue to bring honor to her namesake.
