Description
The news of a new snake arriving at the New York Zoo generated excitement among people, a brand-new animal to look at. But what people didn’t know was that this particular snake was really aggressive and smart, it was a miracle that the hunters managed to capture it alive, considering the intense fight that it gave them. When it was time to put the snake into its cage, its new home, the Zoo staff and the hunters heavily drugged the serpent with sedatives. The day after the Zoo was open to the public, many came to see the new snake, but the commotion generated by such a large crowd only angered the snake. The Zoo staff thought that the snake would be tired and exhausted from all the sedatives, but the drugs had entirely worn off. The snake used its body mass to break the class, it had escaped from its cage. As the snake broke free people screamed and shouted, people started to run for the exit. The snake was hungry, and there were so much potential prey running around, it just needed to eat one for now. It managed to use its body to make one prey fall down to the ground, it eyed its fallen prey with anticipation, eagerly wanting to eat. The prey let out a scream as it began to coil around it, it felt its saliva dribble down its jaws. It was hungry. It extended its moist jaws over the prey's face, ready to start its long awaited meal. But as it was about to bite down something pierced its flesh, and then soon after the weariness started to set in. The snake recognized this feeling, recognized this pain, it was the same pain that the hunters used to capture it. Glancing backward, the snake spotted the familiar hunters who had once captured it, patiently anticipating its exhaustion. Determined not to succumb, the snake refused to collapse again, it would not be captured again. With swift agility, it leaped between the hunters' legs, evading its capture. Abandoning its untouched meal pained the snake; it had never savoured such prey and longed to taste its succulent flesh. As it left the room it saw that there were still much prey running in a frenzy nearby, it managed to slither into the chaotic crowd to use them as cover from the hunter's weapons. It kept on slithering, it followed where the crowd of prey were running to. And before it knew it, it had escaped into the city.Perched atop a skyscraper, Spider-Gwen scrolled through her phone in search of something intriguing to read. What captured her attention was a news article about a snake that had escaped from the New York Zoo. The article detailed the dire situation, and that the police were working to locate the snake to return it to the zoo.
"This is a first," Gwen remarked to herself. "Never brought an escaped snake back to its home." With that, she leaped from the skyscraper, embarking on her quest to find the escaped snake.
The snake managed to find a tree to hide, it slithered up the tree and wrapped itself around its branches. It was still hungry, it wanted to find itself something to eat, but it was now in unfamiliar territory, and it also had become dark outside. It felt itself falling asleep, it was exhausted. But then it tasted something. Flicking its tongue, it tasted the flavour once more, causing its mouth to instantly fill with saliva. As anticipation bubbled within, the snake's stomach emitted a low, eager gurgle. A delicious prey was nearby, it flicked its tongue again, and it seemed that the prey was getting closer to it. With hunger intensifying, the snake prepared to strike, its instincts sharpening as its saliva glands kicked into overdrive, its mouth filling with an eager pool of saliva as it prepared for the impending feast.
Gwen landed on a light pole, her search for the escaped snake had taken her to New York Grand Park. She has been swinging around New York searching for this snake like a crazy person for almost 2 hours, and the time is just 9 pm. Gwen watched as the night settled in perched on top the light pole, the darkness of the night cast a dim glow over the park. Gwen took a deep breath as she took in the view of New York, of her City, she loved her life as spider-woman.
Yawn. Gwen yawned, she was exhausted and wanted to go to sleep. “Maybe the search for this snake can wait until tomorrow.” she yawned even deeper.
However, just as Gwen poised herself to leap from the light pole, an unexpected sound caught Gwen's attention, the rustling of leaves. Despite the hour, the park seemed eerily deserted, and she was certain no one else was nearby. There it was again, the distinct sound of leaves shuffling, this time emanating from behind her. There it was again, the distinct sound of leaves shuffling, this time emanating from behind her.
The snake watched its prey from a distance in its tree, staring at its prey's alluring body. The graceful curve of its prey body, the allure was irresistible, and the snake's hunger intensified with each passing moment. The snake contemplated the best approach so it could get closer without alerting its prey, completely driven by the hunger for a satisfying and succulent meal.
Gwen turned around, listening and tracking down where the noise was coming from. As she turned around, she saw two yellow eyes staring at her from a nearby tree. A surge of realization washed over her, she had found the escaped snake.
“I guess I found that damn snake.” Gwen thought to herself as she jumped down from the light pole.
Gwen decided to walk towards the tree that the snake was perched up in, when she stood directly beneath the tree, she gazed upward, locking eyes with the piercing yellow eyes of the snake. As she looked up, Gwen noticed something oozing down from the tree above where the snake was, something wet, sticky, and unmistakably slimy. It took a moment for her to connect the dots before realization hit her, this liquid was none other than the snake's saliva. Gwen took one step backwards to distance herself from the descending saliva, she felt disgusted as she watched the wet, thick saliva leak down onto the grass.
"Well, it's time for you to return to your home," Gwen said as she looked back up at the snake. But as she looked back at the snake, the snake dove down with its jaw, aiming for Gwen’s head. In a split second, Gwen's spider-senses tingled, alerting her of the danger. Reacting with lightning reflexes, she managed to evade the snake's wet, gaping maw just in the nick of time. But how fast she was to avoid the snake's maw, she wasn't quick enough to avoid the snake’s tail as it came behind her and coiled around her neck. The tail slithered silently behind her, coiling around her neck with a steel grip. The sudden constriction sent a shockwave through Gwen's body as the relentless pressure tightened around her neck. The sensation of the tail constricting felt like a suffocating embrace, squeezing the air from her lungs. Gwen's attempts to gasp for breath were met with the oppressive force of the snake's tail, leaving her in a pathetic struggle for air. Her throat tightened with each heartbeat, and a sense of vulnerability overwhelmed her as she desperately gulped for air. As Gwen desperately fought for even a small gasp of air, she felt herself start to ascend, the snake's tail lifting her helplessly into the tree. Panic surged through her as she felt overwhelming dizziness that threatened to pull her into unconsciousness. The world blurred at the edges, and Gwen felt herself start to pass out. Just as the suffocating darkness threatened to take her, the snake relinquished its grip around her neck. Relief washed over Gwen, but it was short-lived. The snake began coiling more of her body, ensnaring her even more. Then the snake dove down once more, Its wet maw clamped down onto the right side of Gwen's mask. Gwen squirmed in anguish as the snake's wet maw savagely tore through a portion of her mask, leaving her face exposed to the cool night air. Then she saw it spit out the fabric of her mask, was it trying to get her out of her costume? She wondered as she watched it bite down onto her left breast, doing the same thing. As the snake shredded Gwen's costume, its coils continued to slither down her vulnerable body, tightening its grip with each passing moment. The fabric of her costume now hung in tatters. Then in a moment of utter despair, Gwen let out a pathetic gasp as the snake's tail obliterated the right leg portion of her costume, each rip and tear leaving her more exposed to the chilling night air. Gwen now dangled in the snake’s grip as it kept on destroying her costume, as it kept on dragging her upward toward the tree. Her costume was almost completely gone at this point, but Gwen refused to give up, she needed to fight. Gwen managed to wriggle her left arm free from the snake's constricting coils, she then reached out and grabbed the snake's snout, stopping the snake from launching down at her once more. The snake, thwarted in its attempt to lunge at Gwen, responded with a hiss of frustration. Thick, slimy saliva spat out of its maw, coating Gwen's already vulnerable body. The disgusting substance clung to her skin. As Gwen held the snake in place, she looked into its eyes. She could see in its eyes that it wanted to eat her, eat her badly. She only saw hatred and hunger in those yellow eyes, but she refuses to be reduced to mere prey for a hungry snake. However, this serpent craved more than just any ordinary meal, it hungered for her.
