Description
(DC vs Transformers)Connections:
- Legendary red yellow and blue pure-hearted alien heroes who crashed on Earth against their will after the deaths of their home planets (Krypton & Cybertron) but ultimately accepted Earth as their new home and battled to protect it from the forces of evil whether they're on Earth or from beyond the stars.
- They have immense power, iron wills but most importantly, they have hearts of gold and fight for many pure noble ideals which they're the sheer raw embodiments of. One of their most defining traits is that despite being aliens with frightening levels of power, they've often shown the best of what humanity is and what humanity can be which inspires many people in and out of their universes to be good like them.
- They’re titled as the last of their lineages (The Last Son of Krypton & the Last of the Primes).
- They notably have disguises that allow them to blend in with the rest of Earth (Superman takes on the identity of a mild-mannered reporter & Optimus Prime transforms into a truck).
- They’ve died and been revived multiple times and even managed to bring back life to their homeworlds (Superman restored Kandor to its original size which eventually led to the creation of New Krypton & Optimus Prime’s sacrifice would lead to Hot Rod rising up as Rodimus Prime who would lead the Autobots to finally reclaim Cybertron).
- They have archenemies (Lex Luthor & Megatron) who may share similar goals with them (Lex Luthor wants to protect Earth & Megatron wants to revitalize Cybertron) but they attempt to achieve these goals in selfish and destructive manners (Lex Luthor wants to get rid of Superman so that he can be Earth's greatest protector and prove that Earth doesn’t need him & Megatron wants to pillage all of Earth's natural resources and enslave its populace to revitalize Cybertron and conquer it along with the entire universe) which brings them into conflict with the heroes as their polar opposites.
- They have rivalries with literal gods who are the very embodiments of evil and have true forms that exist beyond space and time (Darkseid & Unicron).
- They receive their powers from mighty sources of light which is befitting of their shining roles as pure heroes (The Sun & the Matrix of Leadership).
- They possess powerful energy attacks unleashed from their power sources as last resorts (The Solar Flare which unleashes all of Superman’s stored solar energy & the Matrix of Leadership's devastating energy blast).
- They're the leaders of legendary groups of fellow extraordinary heroes who help further their efforts to protect humanity (The Justice League & the Autobots).
- They're known for having their mantles passed on to the next generations of heroes and their many noble deeds have shown to echo across time and space in the form of many different versions of themselves across their multiverses.
- They're the faces of their franchises and nearly every hero within their universes looks up to them as the biggest shining examples of heroism whether alive or in death.
