The Amagi Class battlecruiser was was battlecruiser planned based off the Toso class Battleship (planned never built) 4 were planned but 1 was started but finished as the aircraft carrier IJN Akagi which would later during WWII would be badly damaged during the battle of Midway and later scuttled by the Japanese.
