So, longtime viewers of this account (if you could call 7-ish months a long time lmao) will know about my OC, Christine "Kris" Meyers. I decided to flesh her out a bit more and give her a more thoughtful design (the design I gave her initially was sort of a placeholder). Here is a new and improved Kris:

She is an optimistic woman who is protective towards those she cares about. She enjoys reading, writing, mathematics, and sports (especially basketball).
Christine "Kris" Meyers was born on June 18th, 1971 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to Richard and Beverly Meyers. She mostly hung around with a group of kids around her age (though most of them were a year or two older), dubbed "The Neighborhood Kids". She also occasionally visited a pair of old women--Gladys van Dyke and Rosemary Claes--who lived in Syosset, a long way east of Brooklyn. On her tenth birthday in 1981, her parents gave her a diary, which she wrote in for just under a decade.
During middle and high school, she had a tenancy to get bullied for writing in a diary despite her age. This was especially prominent when she was in high school. In tenth grade, she got bullied by an underclassman named Leigh Santos on a regular basis. This caused her to form a sororal bond with Jennifer Nguyen, another person that Leigh bullied. Kris graduated high school in 1988, and went to college in 1990. During this period of time, she also wrote a few books known as The Black River Anthology. They were never really too well-known outside of The Neighborhood Kids and some others in the know.
In college, she had a friend group that was supportive for the most part, and roughly corresponded with The Neighborhood Kids. She also got a new diary, since her old one was almost completely filled out by this point. After she graduated from the University of Brooklyn in 1995, she married a man named Jacob Zaborowski the next year.
A keen (or not-so-keen) eye might notice how she bears a passing resemblance to another one of my OCs, Corinne. This isn't just a coincidence; Kris and Corinne are mother and daughter, respectively.
Anyway, Kris, Jacob, and Corinne moved to the Bronx (specifically Mott Haven) in September 2003 after being driven out of Brooklyn due to high rent. During this move, she lost her diary and wouldn't find it again for about a month. During this time, she would get another diary, and write in that one.
Starting sometime between 2005 and 2011 (I haven't figured out the year) she got a job as an accountant.
