HuntingForFrogs: …He’d fallen asleep. This was Galen's conclusion as he slowly lifted his head up from his crossed arms from where he was sat in the library. Yawning quietly, he stretched his arms out and looked around, no one was around but he couldn’t have been asleep for too long as his game on his DS was still running. Blinking, he reached out to close the lid and sleepily packed away this belongings, exiting the library while dragging his feet slightly. It was the weekend so he didn’t need to get to any classes so he took his time.
vibrantly-awful: She'd been sitting in a little, comfortable chair in the corner of the library, studying quietly. She did, however, watch as a student had walked into her line of vision a little while ago, but exit promptly thereafter, going to, presumably, seat himself at one of the several long tables in the public study area. However, it had been an hour or two since then, and she hadn't seen him leave, so she concluded that he must be hard at work, or asleep. She vaguely recognized the guy, but couldn't place him in her memory.
In any case, it didn't matter much to her, since she was done studying. She yawned a little, closing her book and picking up her 3ds (limited tiger edition, of course), opening a room, curious to see if someone in the area was online, since the light on her 3ds was pinging that there was.
Galen's 3ds pinged its light, too.
HuntingForFrogs: Galen: He’d potted off nearby to the greenhouse, feeling at home there as he studied healing and potions. There was no classes on the weekends so he was alone, just the plants for company.
He sat on one of the stools inside and pulled out his DS again, seeing a light has come on. Opening it up, he saw someone had opened a room to play a game and joined. He didn’t play online in games very often, it always stressed him out too much but maybe he’d make an exception just this once.
vibrantly-awful: Satomi: She was a little surprised that someone was on at this hour, but clicked START, looking quizzically at the person's username. Well, no matter. She had never lost a game on this campus, and she didn't plan on starting today. With her Sheik, she usually always managed to read the enemy's attacks before they had time to implement them.
HuntingForFrogs: Galen: Lowering himself so he sat on the ground and leaning back on the stool, he chose ol' faithful, Zero Suit Samus, and got ready for battle. He just liked her speed, he would have chosen a Fire Emblem character but they were too slow for him and made it hard to fight back.
vibrantly-awful: It ran long, and the match was clutch, but Satomi came out on top. She released the breath she'd been holding throughout the duration of the match, and hit START. "あなたは準備ができています!" Read the tile over Sheik's name, since Satomi only had the Japanese versions of the games that had originally come from Japan. "You are ready" was what it had said. Satomi picked Zelda next, because she was equally good with either, due to her experience with Brawl and Melee, in which Zelda and Sheik were interchangeable characters. She had advanced in her skill with them at the same time. The little username she had made for herself: さとみ, blinked ready.
HuntingForFrogs: Galen: At the end of the match, he'd ended up led down on the greenhouse floor, sighing from his loss. It was a fun match though, so he couldn't complain. He was a little confused at the Japanese characters though, was he playing against someone who was from Japan? Or had they gotten impatient and ordered it from there when it first came out? He didn't care too much though, as he focused on picking his next character. He hovered over villager, picking a male version, and selected it. He liked fighting with the villager, it reminded him of his town in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, even though it was quite bad. He wasn't very good at designing things.
vibrantly-awful: After a fruitless attempt to try andteleport and deal damage to the villager, the opponent promptly shielded, grabbed Zelda, and threw her in a backwards fashion from the stage, resulting in a loud scream from Zelda and a bright flash of defeat. "Ah, no good..." Satomi sighed, setting down her 3ds. She really didn't like losing.
HuntingForFrogs: A small smile graced Galen's lips as he won, doing a small fist bump in the air and a half-hearted cheer. He found himself wanting to battle this person again, or meet them if possible so they could share friend codes and such, but how would he find them? He couldn't exactly go around asking for someone with a Japanese screen name, he'd look like a total weirdo.
Lifting his DS back up to look at it, he wondered if they'd go for another match.
vibrantly-awful: Determined, Satomi tried to defeat Galen, but was slain after self-destructing within the first minute, and was unable to pull forward, since she wasn't that great with Pikachu's recovery. She lost.
HuntingForFrogs: Rolling over onto his side, he noticed a flashing red light on his ds and turned it off as it was the end of the match anyway, closing the lid and lying it in front of him. He was still tired and groggy from his nap, and was very tempted to close his eyes. So he did. One of the gardeners would probably wake him up later if he wasn't awake, but his neck would definitely be sore once he was up from lying on concrete.
vibrantly-awful: Shrugging, Satomi closed her 3ds after seeing that the person left the match anyway. Picking up her panda book bag, she slid her books inside and shouldered it, walking out with her 3ds folded beneath her arm, headed to her dorm. She left thinking that it would be nice if she could play that person again, and this time, win the majority.
